Safety

Preparation

  • Surface – When you request your rental, you will specify the type of surface that the inflatable will be setup on Grass, Concrete, or Turf.  If you are not on grass then we can not drive in our stacks and will need to use sand bags instead to hold the inflatable secure. You should request these or we will add them to your order later.
  • Location
    • Your yard – We will need access to your yard. Most of our inflatables will need a gate at least 40 inches wide.
    • City park – you may be required by the city to obtain a permit to set up an inflatable at a city park.  This is your responsibility but we will discuss with you and assist you with this task.
    • HOA park – your HOA my require some type of permission to set up an inflatable at an HOA park. Please be sure to check with your HOA and obtain this if required before the day of your event.
  • Sprinklers – we can not be responsible for broken sprinkler lines.  Our stakes are deep so it’s a good day to know where your sprinkler head ares.  Knowing the sprinkler heads’ location and the zones will help if where to avoid the lines.  Sprinklers that come on at the same time when the zone comes on will have a line between them. Knowing these locations will help us to avoid these lines.  As well please turn off your sprinklers to not come on while our inflatable will be there.
  • Power – we will need a 20amp GFCI outlet for our blower to inflate the bounce house.  If you don’t have a plug within 100′, you will need to rent a generator as well.  NOTE: if you plan multiple inflatables multiple outlets will be needed and sometimes multiple outlets outside use the same circuit breaker so others may be needed.

Setup

  • 1 hour before event – we will need to start our setup at least one hour before your event.  Payment will be necessary before we setup our inflatable. We accept Cash, Check, and most major Debit/Credit cards (We will not get your card info early.  We will scan the card on location.  We do not save your card info to ensure your card information is secure)
  • Rental agreement – our driver will walk you through our rental agreement.  This will need to be signed by a responsible adult with a valid driver license.
  • Setup of inflatable – our driver will setup the infatable and give you safety and use instructions
  • Disinfectant – if necessary we will spot clean and will always spray Odoban disinfectant before use.

Safety

  • Our deliver driver will walk through safety instructions which are in the rental agreement.  There are also safety instructions posted on the inflatables themselves.
  • Some safety instructions include:
    • Keep occupants of the inflatable similar size/age.  Older kids may injury younger players.  It’s better to arange groups and take turns.
    • No groups at the top of the slide.  This can cause a high center of gravity problem and make the slide unstable.
    • an adult should be supervising at all times and extra care and supervision of children under 3 years of age.
    • if the wind exceeds 15 mpg you should exit the inflatable.
    • If the inflatable deflates have all occupants exit immediately.
    • if the stakes come loose they need to be resecured before the inflatable is occupied again. Call an let us know for further instructions.
    •  WARNING – Individuals with head, neck, back or other musculoskeletal injuries or disabilities, pregnant women, small infants, and others who may be susceptible to injury from falls, bumps or bouncing are not permitted in the unit at any time
